Organization unveils recipient of coveted award, in addition to July 2016 Image Competition winners

ATLANTA, Dec. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — The National Association of Professional Child Photographers announced today Becca Wohlwinder, of Becca Wohlwinder Photography, has been named the 2016 Photographer of the Year. This prestigious recognition was determined by total number of points scored from the 2016 International Image Competition. Honored for attention to detail, exquisite composition and creative perspective, Wohlwinder specializes in natural light photography and has been capturing children and family portraits since 2008.

The organization is also pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 NAPCP International Image Competition. With eight featured categories – Baby, Children, Family, Maternity, Newborn, Senior, Siblings and Toddler – submissions are judged on composition, creativity, impact and technical merit by a panel of field experts. This year’s competition received more than 700 submissions from NAPCP members across the globe.

Each of the nine 2016 NAPCP International Image Competition winners exemplifies photography’s transformation into an international language. In addition to professional recognition, winners capture priority listing in the NAPCP Member Directory, a medallion, vendor endorsements and NAPCP member points.
