Mobile Photo Connect is the leading forum where entrepreneurs, investors and senior executives gather to discuss the key technology and business issues driving the surge in mobile imaging and visual communication.

This year’s event will be held on October 15 at Fort Mason in San Francisco. The event’s theme “profiting in an omni-photo world” will be explored through a mix of presentations, panel discussions, and technology demonstrations:

The future of photo organizing: from manual to deep learning

With the average consumer taking and sharing more photos than ever before, finding the photos that really matter has become an overwhelming challenge for many.  The good news?  Innovative entrepreneurs are tackling this problem, using a variety of technologies, including image recognition and deep learning.  Hear their perspectives on this fast evolving field.

The future of storytelling: from sharing photos to sharing experiences

The panelists are not only seasoned investors, they also have a vast domain knowledge of the photo and imaging industry.

The big picture: profiting in an omni-photo world

At the conclusion of an information-packed day, conference participants will engage in a no-holds barred discussion: What are the major takeaways for the future of mobile photography?  Where are the opportunities to better serve existing user needs or build solutions for needs that haven’t even come to the surface? How will mobile photography progress, and how can we collectively shape this emerging industry?
