ATLANTA, Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ – American Photographic Artists (APA) is proud to announce its APA/Lucie Foundation Scholarship available to a deserving established professional photographer for a specific project in the amount of $5,000 through its partnership with the Lucie Foundation. APA desires to support and encourage growth and professional development, and is excited to partner with the Lucie Foundation for the 2012 grant cycle to show its commitment to advancing professional photography.

Professional photographers interested in applying for the scholarship will be asked to write a one-page description of the project for which they are seeking funding.
