Seven days before Visual 1st, the world’s premier conference focused on promoting innovation and partnerships in the photo and video ecosystem, we’re pleased to announce our lineup of 30 innovative developers who will show their products on stage at Visual 1st.

We selected our Show & Tell presenters exclusively from companies who have never presented their solutions before at Visual 1st, in addition to the demo slots reserved for sponsors.

In 3 fast-paced Show & Tell sessions, the developers will compete for the Visual 1st Best Business Potential Award, Best Technology Award, Best of Show Award, Special Recognition Award, and the Visual 1st Best of Show Award.

Check out the 2018 Show & Tell Awards winners, or the 2017 Awards winners.

Previous Show & Tell presenters include Magisto (acquired by Vimeo), Regaind (acquired by Apple), Kite (acquired by Canon), Orbeus (acquired by Amazon), and Looksery (acquired by Snapchat).

And a few more things …

RPI + ColorCentric + + printernet. The photo print industry keeps consolidating. Congratulations to our friends from RPI, long-time sponsor and supporter of Visual 1st, which acquired ColorCentric Corp., Picaboo, and printernet from SoftPrint Holdings.

Kapwing. More congratulations are in order – last year’s participant in our Visual 1st “phodeo” panel, provider of web-based short-form video editing tools Kapwing, has grown its user base 10x since Visual 1st 2018 when it was still in stealth mode, and the startup just raised $11M.

Google. The Deepfakes battle is on! I.e. better Deepfakes creation tools vs. better Deepfakes detection tools, as we’ll discuss in our Combatting the bad and ugly of imaging AI – Deepfakes & beyond fireside chat session at Visual 1st with prof. Yampolskiy. Google announces it will make a Deepfake dataset available to the research community, which can be used for developing synthetic video detection methods.

PastBook. One-click photo product ordering is what’s PastBook is all about. Company unveils its new logo and brand identity. Hear founder Stefano Cutello’s perspectives on the photo print market in our Print. Yes Again panel at Visual 1st.
